Gallery - a couple of points...

Gallery - a couple of points...

A couple of things I've noticed using the gallery.

Every time a gallery page loads up in my browser I get this displayed at the top:

However, the page seems to load fine below.

Secondly, there's a bit of confusion over a couple of UK zoos. The photos for Amazonia (in Scotland) and Amazona Zoo (in East Anglia) are both lumped together in the same gallery.

Okay - thanks for letting me know.

I could only find one photo from Amazona Zoo which was in the Amazonia gallery - I've moved that.

I also found one from Amazon World in the Amazona Zoo, which I've also moved.

From what I can see, the others are all in the right spot ??

I'm not able to upload more than 1 photo at once

How big are your photos?

What is the speed of your internet connection?

There is a limit on how long the server will wait for an upload to be completed - if your link is too slow and/or your photos too large, then it will time out before it can upload all of the photos.

One thing to try is to resize your photos down to 1600x1200 (or 1200x1600 if in portrait mode) - it's the 1600 that's the important number, not the 1200, so 1600x1350 or some other strange resolution is okay too. This will make the files smaller and upload more quickly. The gallery software will resize larger photos down to this resolution anyway, so you aren't losing anything (in fact the whole process is quicker, since you don't have to wait for the server to do its resizing work - not that this takes very long).
