Hi Zoogoer2000 - ZooBeat was created nearly 5 years ago ... I had an interest in zoos and there weren't any communities out there dedicated to discussing them, so started a new one.
I had no idea it would evolve the way it has - the level of knowledge and enthusiasm from our members has far surpassed anything I imagined! I think we all owe Sim a BIG vote of thanks for setting up this site!
I've learnt so much from it over the year or so since I discovered it. I've had to change many of my preconceived ideas (but not all.) At the risk of repeating myself, I thought I was the only zoo "nut" around until I found all you lot! Thanks, Sim. |
