Juvenile [Von der Decken's?] Hornbill; Partridges are little fat round things.

This is certainly not a Mountain Bamboo Partridge,if you had said African Grey Hornbill you would have been spot on.

I was only going by the signs on the avairy as the other sign said Silver Pheasant so again another signage cock up.

I am beginning to wonder wether zoos actually care what signs are on the outside of the enclosures and I am not just talking about twycross here its happening in most UK zoos these days.

I will wait for the usual reply well they move the animals about regulary so why not move the signs at the same time then simples!

I will in future just be uploading a photograph with name title and no comment if the zoos can't be bothered why should I be bothered .

Yes it is still a beautiful species no matter what it is

The signage on that row of aviaries has been shocking for as long as I can remember, so no argument there. Is there not a picture on the partridge sign? Honestly can't remember. The partridge is in there as well (or was the last time I looked).

I have to ask as you are more into your birds than other Animals, how could you not tell the difference between a Hornbill and a Partridge as they look nothing like one another??

I know what you mean but as I took over 5,000 photographs of birds in 2 days and over 1,000 of other animals I was just uploading from the signage just for the record I also labeled 2 white storks as pinked backed pelicans I think it may be my age catching up with me must go to bed at a sensible time in future.
HAHAHA
