      I haven't seen him/her for a while so I wondered if she/he was still with us.

      A good place to spot him/her is in the elephant paddock when they're given a scatter feed, usually around 3-3:30pm. Lots of seagulls, jackdaws and ducks descend on the paddock.

      does this bird get on well with the other jackdaws?

      Apparently so, I've never seen it being mobbed. It's also quite an intelligent bird, it never lands on a path or amongst visitors.
