We're not very good at keeping up to date with new guides I'm afraid. If you spot any omissions just send me a PM and I'll get them added.

Maybe-but most zoos/Safariparks nowadays use the tiger as cover species. So Hodenhagen and Amneville, both have published new guides recently, and both with tiger cover.

The tiger is defenitely the Number 1 species for guidebook covers. Within 2457 guides, published between 1945 and 2015, showing just one animal on the cover, 302 use a tiger-thats a lot....

Two new guidebooks in Poland. Poznań Zoo - this time one common guide for both zoos. On cover Grevy's zebras (at New Zoo side) and Komodo dragon (at Old Zoo side). The second one is Toruń Zoo - black and white ruffed lemurs on cover.

Been on a german Zoo tour recently with 8 Zoos and one aquarium-got only three older guidebooks-Bremerverhaven 2005,Tierpark Berlin 2013, and Niendorf 2010-thats's it. At Berlin Zoo I've asked at the Ticketbooth for a guidebook, but the cashier said:"Our boss dosn't like books"As I ask for map, he gave me the english map, because they hadn't a german map since week---world famous Berlin zoo-what a blame....

Hard times for german guidebook collectors.

it's now 2015, here in the States one is lucky to even find a guide anymore. To sad really. Sorry state that everything is done through dopey computer, and we wonder why children have no interest in wondering about a book, heaven forebit develop compassion for some strange weird animal! Case in point, The Brookfield Zoo had a wonderful bookstore located by it's bird house. It has been gone for years now! It wasn't your typical dopey souvenir store, rather it was an awesome collection of titles of ALL animals! I bought a zoo yearbook there once to give someone idea.
