Zoo Zurich has a new guidebook, though it is more of a real book (it costs 25 Swiss francs). It has 360 pages and has a tiger on the cover. It is one of the better guidebooks I have seen though in the last years.

Paignton have released a 2016 guide - Cover photo below

Amazona have also updated there guidebook this year. Same cover image (Jaguar) but with different logo and various changes in the text. However the new guide has been incorrectly printed with 3rd edition printed i/b/c. This is wrong and there is no 2nd edition (confirmed by staff at Amazona)

Hunstanton Sea Life guides have also been updated recently on the Bartlett masterlist - including a 2016 guide (Grey seal pup cover)

Do you know if the Paignton guide is different to the last few years or is it just a cover change again

The new Chester effort is dreadful. It would be dreadful if they gave it away; its very brief, is difficult to make sense of being composed in the silly font they continue to use, has no photography within it, at all!.. and my ten year olds consider it too babyish. All for a fiver!

Chester, as much as I love the place, are testing me lately. They are their own worst enemy, honestly.

I was so thrilled to see that a guidebook was back. If only it was!:(:(

We aren't counting it on the Bartlett list - despite it being marketed as a souvenir book

My experience at Whipsnade over the last few years is that new stock such as guides and postcards start to appear over the Easter Holiday period. I am a frequent visitor to Whipsnade, so will let you know when it appears.
