Remember that Howletts has four breeding groups of gorillas. The original enclosures are in the walled garden at the west of the zoo. This photo looks west. The oldest house is on the right (now holds Kibam's 'widow's), with the first gorillarium on the left (Kouillou's group). Note the bridges with keeper walkways above. Howletts, August 2008.
