I comment on my own recent picture instead of making a special thread for this little request.

I was looking at the status of Leopards on ISIS; the Bronx is registered as having 0.2 'general' leopards (i.e. Panthera pardus) and these two black ones in Jungle Word would certainly be them. However, they are also registered as housing 2.1 Amur Leopards (i.e. Panthera pardus orientalis). Is that an ISIS error or did I miss them in September (if so, where were they?)

there are no amurs in the bronx zoo

All right, so we think of this as an ISIS error then.

      How do you know elephantking?
Could it possibly be behind the secnes holding?
    • reduakari
Yes--they were obtained for a planned Amur leopard exhibit at the Prospect Park Zoo, which has since been canceled.

      oh sorry didnt know that

Do you have any more information about that? It seems a shame as Prospect Park is the only one of the New York City zoos lacking a larger feline species.

I wasn't aware that the Prospect Park Amur Leopard exhibit had been cancelled. Has the Queens Zoo Jaguar Exhibit also been given the boot?

no i think they are still going ahead with it
