looks like a common magpie (Pica pica)
    • Ituri
Or a Black-billed Magpie (Pica hudsonia)?
    • Dicerorhinus
      It's an oriental magpie-robin
    • ThylacineAlive
I don't think it's that as it does have blue on the wings.

As for the other two guesses I wouldn't guess the magpie-robin myself but I really don't know.

Bill is not thin enough for a magpie-robin and there is a sheen on the wings indicating either Pica pica or Pica hudsonica.

Maybe a view from underneath will help?

well not really. It is still either pica or hudsonia. Ask at the zoo next time and see if the curator or someone knows which one it is.
    • ThylacineAlive
Well the old ISIS records list Pica pica being at the zoo but I'll ask next time.
