I just saw the Dolphin Show for the 6th time, each time it being completely different, and I must say that it has definitely reached an all time low. Never in my life have I seen so many families leave in the middle of a Dolphin Show from disappointment (20 families). Although I'm glad that the show no longer features blasting, fast paced pop music, half the show has almost nothing to do with dolphins. The zoo wasted their time making an 8 minute long video about how a farmer in Indiana can affect how the ocean can remain healthy (?). And with it being neatly pitch black inside during the show, the dolphins during this time can't even be seen. Luckily what saved it from me despising fully is at the end they bring out every single Dolphin to the main tank where all of them synchronize perform different tricks, making it a wonderful sight.
Here is an interesting fact, when the pavilion first opened apparently the building displayed not just Dolphins but it also displayed False Killer Whales.
