August 2008. A walk-in red panda exhibit that allows for close contact with the cute animals. This zoo specializes in the species, and has a tremendous breeding record.

It just opened last year and it is a walk-through exhibit that allows visitors to possibly get within 6 feet of the red pandas. However, there still remains a small glass barrier that comes up to about my waist.
