In the next few months four cheetah's are leaving Dublin to be swapped with Mysore Zoo in India. In exchange a pair of juvenille Asian Elephants are coming to Dublin Zoo!!! No details on genders at this time but I'm assuming one of the elephants will be a male? Star Of Mysore Online
Just wondering where the Cheetah are coming from as they didn't have any when I visited in May, unless they are going from Fota Wildlife Park?
ISIS list's Fota as having 1:5 cheetah all over a year old. I would guess that the four female's are siblings and will go to India via quarantine at Dublin Zoo?
Unfortuntly the news was too good to be true Dublin will get at least one new elephant in the future but at this time none are coming from Mysore. The article in the above link no longer works
