In the next few months four cheetah's are leaving Dublin to be swapped with Mysore Zoo in India. In exchange a pair of juvenille Asian Elephants are coming to Dublin Zoo!!! :D

No details on genders at this time but I'm assuming one of the elephants will be a male?

Just wondering where the Cheetah are coming from as they didn't have any when I visited in May, unless they are going from Fota Wildlife Park?

ISIS list's Fota as having 1:5 cheetah all over a year old. I would guess that the four female's are siblings and will go to India via quarantine at Dublin Zoo?

Unfortuntly the news was too good to be true :( Dublin will get at least one new elephant in the future but at this time none are coming from Mysore. The article in the above link no longer works
