An incredibly rare species in North American zoos, and I believe that Oklahoma City is the only place that I've seen this mammal. There are other institutions that have the bush dog in their collection, but European zoos have many more than North America.

I'm not sure, but I think St. Louis zoo also has them. Does anybody know if Bush Dogs are hard to breed?

I know that they had at least 3 bush dogs in Oklahoma, in two huge enclosures in comparison to the tiny dogs, and it would be great if more zoos included them in their collection plans.

It would be nice if zoos would include them in their new South American exhibits.
