      It would be nice for them to produce another calf!

      If you mean Paignton Zoo- yes. If you mean 'this pair' they haven't bred - the previous calf Zuri being fathered by the mature(experienced breeder) Kingo. They really need to swap males again or send her away to get mated.

      I understand keeping them together is part of a European initiative. It means there is less chance of missing the very short receptive part of the female's cycle. Sita can be feisty but Manyara is very laid back so they generally get on well together.
