      Not sure why Gambira has not become pregnant like the other two females did. She is somewhat stunted but seems in good condition otherwise.

      I think the long delay before they started breeding may have been due to Demo- he isn't(or wasn't) very fit and perhaps it affected his fertility(?)- he has certainly mated the females very regularly ever since he arrived.

      It is strange that nothing's happened yet as they mate very regularly. It appears that he pursues her whether she's in season or not. She's the result of a mother/son union while his parents were father and daughter. I notice from a fairly recent studbook that her father/brother, Nakal, is considered to have 'limited fecundity'.
