An area behind the Baboons has been cleared but I have no idea why. It might just be for some very mundane reason. This is on the path leading from the restaurant up to the Spider Monkeys etc.

      Is that part of the baboon off-show quarters Gigit?

      The off-show quarters are out of shot to the left. That's part of the back wall of the main enclosure. The small 'hut' contains electrical equipment, I think. The bare tree trunk has now gone and the cleared space looks bigger but, as far as I know, nobody has suggested that it's for an animal or bird enclosure.

      Shrubs have been planted in this area now.
