Ocelot Exhibit
Old 08-10-2008

October 2008. This is basically the entire cage, with barely anything for the poor prisoner to do.

Could it have been confined temporarily for health or husbandry reasons? I hope so for the cat's sake. The other Ocelot enclosure looks pretty good on your photo.

The enclosure was perhaps 7 feet by 8 feet in size, and there was a row of about 4 cages that were all the same in width and length. A kinkajou, ocelot and porcupine were three of the inhabitants, and most of this zoo's exhibits were quite poorly constructed. Hopefully this cat isn't still trapped in the deplorable cage that is in the photo.
