The houbara bustards at Beijing Zoo are kept in the Pheasant Garden along with great bustards. The houbara species was recently split into two, with the Asian birds now called Macqueen's bustards, so the Beijing birds may need to be reclassified. The species is rare in zoos. Taken 19 Aug 2008.
