Anodorhynchus leari Unfortunately these stayed firmly at the back of their dimly-lit aviary, but lovely things to see.
Oh absolutely - one of the highlights of the day! Yes, I'm afraid there's some truth in that as well - would have been very easy to assume they were more Hyacinths and walk past them. Still, better a poor view than no view at all!
