      Where's this?

This picture was taken at dusk just as the cockatoos were coming in to roost.
It is at Karrakatta Cemetery where large numbers of them roost in the trees around.

One of the more unusual places to go birding! :D

Is birding in a cemetary not a usual thing to do? :D
It's a guaranteed sighting to see these here, there was a researcher or conservationist or something counting the birds and he counted around 120 that night though it was too dark to get any good shots, even this one is pretty poor.

Thanks, I'll have to check it out next time I'm in Perth!

It's true that cemetries are great places for birding and wildlife-watching, several of the photos I've placed in the Netherlands - Wildlife Gallery were made at cemetries.
And... I seem to have something with cemetries because right at the moment - when I have a look out of my front-window I'm looking at a cementry and also at the time I was living at Pairi Daiza ( I was living IN the park ) I looked at the old cemetry of the monks in the park.
