at Bukit Fraser, a hill station a couple of hours outside Kuala Lumpur. When you see them moving around they look like they are wearing big orange gumboots!.

      I love them ! Althrough much less colourfull as other Nectarbirds, they ar so intresting. A pitty that even in the time that bird-imports were still allowed coming to Europe, very few Spiderhunters were imported. I've taken care for several of them.

      same here. They just seem to have a lot more personality than the sunbirds.
