One part on the new Bongo - Exbith. One of the biggest Zoo-News in Sweden 2009 is the Bongos in Boras Zoo. They came from Givskud Zoo in December 2008. From Givskud its only come females.

      Again, this is the simple and cost-effective way to create good zoo enclosures for the animals. You put a fence around an existing, natural piece of nature. I assume that the trees to the left and right are parts of the enclosure, right? Not an African forest, no... but I think the bongos will settle just fine with all this Swedish birch, pine etc.

      No, they cant go in the wood. But now the have new trees in the exbith. 5 bongos came in december from Givskud Zoo, (only females)

      The trees to the left and the right in this picture, are they not part of the enclosure, are they not accessible to the animals?

      Maby some of them!? But the Bongos have access too the old camel exbith too.

      Oh, so the combined exhibit is even bigger than what you see in this picture? Even better!
