Corroboree Frog Exhibit - Healesville Sanctuary 2013

Healesville Sanctuary 4 August 2013 This is within the visitors area of the new Cool Conservation building, for alpine species recovery and currently home to these frogs and mountain pygmy possums. You can climb underneath and look up through the bubble to try and spot the frogs, but I think its designed for children. We saw eight of the ten frogs this time, but last time only saw one, they are very hard to spot!

Are these Northern, or Southern Corroboree Frogs?

Southern Corroboree Frogs, which are the more endangered species. Healesville actually holds both species I think, but the Northerns aren't on display.
