Polar bear enclosure (female)

Typically awful polar bear enclosure, and is the exhibit much larger than what is shown in the photo?

Do you know how is constructed the cubbing den for polar bears in Leningrad, especially how is it insulated? I know this zoo is one of most successfull places in polar bear breeding for decades (maybe the best in the world?).

And second question - Prague tries to get a new breeding male from Leningrad (he should be 6 years old). Do you know his name? And if he is related to a male Alik (born 1977 in Leningrad), that was sent to Prague in 1978 and his daughter still lives here.

Snowleopard: Miniaturezoo954 is right - in Russia it's like a palace and it's almost whole in the picture - land, at least.

Jana: sorry, but I don't know anything about female's den. And I don't know the name of 6 years old male (you can see him on one of the pictures in the cage). But I'm sure he's not a relative to Alik, because his father Menshikov is wildborn in late 1980th, and mother Uslada is from Moscow zoo.
