New contoversial park : Claws out over Lion Man Craig Busch's new park in South Africa - National - NZ Herald News
On the "Ugly List" for Volunteers in Africa Beware Busch and his park in South Africa are on the places to avoid for paying volunteers. Take a look https://www.facebook.com/volunteersbeware/posts/799395270107971
I know several people who have volunteered (which in Africa means pay to stay and work) at Jabula. From what they say its no better or worse than quite a number of other like minded places. In return for a fee they get to clean and maintain the place, help prepare food and take visitors on tours. Apparently no cubs or cub breeding going on there, as yet. But for the same money or a little bit more you can get better deals in Africa. You won't get closer to wildlife here than you would in a zoo, which is really what it is.
Actually 4 male cubs were born last year and removed from the mother Shia at ten days old. Since then they've been used for cub petting tours and lion walks. See for yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YbWh28LovE
