Quite a nice reptile house. I liked the way that it curves. Admission price now included in the gate price - which is good as they used to charge an extra 2.50 Euro to get in here!

Does Rome have a good herp collection? Do they have any noteworthy species that you haven't seen at other zoos?

Sorry about the terrible quality of the shot - but you get an idea of what the place looks like. Pretty good Herp collection. Komodo dragons on display both in a purpose built enclosure outside of the main reptile house and a youngster held in a viv in the reptile house. At least four crocodilian species. Some venomous snakes and several EEP species of snake and lizard. Aldabra giant tortoises and radiated tortoises in the tropical walk through bit as you come in. I really enjoyed it!
