      was it coldwater or tropical? They might just be baby dogfish (Scyliorhinus canicula). Some kind of catshark at any rate.

      Coldwater, they were in a traditional British coast tank with a load of different ray species. My first thought was lesser spotted dogfish but wasn't 100%

      in that case I would say there's a very high probability they are Scyliorhinus canicula

      Yes can confirm regular dogfish and in the process of mating.

      hmm, you'd think I would have noticed that wouldn't you? :D

      I was distracted by them looking very small in the photo, so thought they'd be babies.
