Sorry, but i cannot help you in this case! I read about Boy in the "Elephant -Magazin" of the European Elephant Group (EEG), No. 2/Oct. 2002 some years ago. In this magazin you find a lot of interesting elephant-news and infos! There are two issues/year, but only in german! Maybe the EEG could help you with the informations you need, because they are collecting all data of european and north-american elephants and know really a lot of each elephant...

We might have some clue of what our top five spots are. Which is pretty good in less than 24 hours. I think we just need to find out more about Luka and Alexander. Then we can find out if www.elefanten.de is wrong or not about Bindu.

And there is another giant Asian bull: Colonel Joe of Circus Krone. It's said that he is 3.5 meters high, 7000 kilograms and with tusks of 1.5 meters (but partly cut off).

I have seen him in person, and he for sure not 3,5 m high. And he is nowhere as heavy as Radza. The 3,5 m/ 7 tons is circus propaganda.

That's why I said "it is said" because I have my doubts. But he is still a giant bull!

Btw; he is also castrated.

Doubt he is that big. Would any one know how big the elephant bull Maxi of Zurich is?

I don't think there is going to be an easy way of finding out Joe's real weight. The guys at the circus will probably lie about how big he really is. Lowest weight i've found on google about him is 6800kgs. The highest is i think 7500kgs.

What a silly little boy you are sometimes dragon(ele)nerd. Circus Krone is owned and operated by people of the highest repute. Why would they "...probably lie about how big he really is".? He is a very impressive animal and I have been following his progress for many years. Whether he is the "biggest" in the world is immaterial and not something that anyone would need to lie about.

In my experience [of over 40 years] you will more likely get a straight answer from a circus person than from a zoo person.

I saw Joe in 2006. He is impressive, but i don´t think he is the biggest oder heaviest Ele in the World. In Germany there are some bulls whom are bigger than Joe, f.e. Bindu in Colonge.

Circus Krone often "lies" to make their atractions sound more cool for the visitors. So it´s always the biggest Ele, lion, tiger or Hippo and the rarest white lion, zebra or else...
