New macaw house : Zoo Praha , which will house lear macaws Aralandia (2017) : Zoo wuppertal, which will also house lear macaws
Noahs Ark Zoo Farm: Spectacled Bear exhibit. Due to open in the Spring with 2.0 coming from Frankfurt as its first residents
How about the new gibbon complex at Twycross? I assume that will be completed next year, probably before the chimpanzee complex. Maybe Chester will have orangs in Islands next year? Wildwood (Kent) are getting Arctic foxes! (I know this isn't too exciting but they are thin on the ground in the UK!) Can't think of any others that haven't previously been mentioned.
Copenhagen Zoo is making a new exhibit for snow owl and arctic fox, in part of the old bear pits. It's basically already built, but it's awaiting final approval from the authorities, according to the zoo's facebook page.
I think Colchester Zoo's 'Chimpanzee Lookout', featuring improved enclosures for the chimpanzees and slender-snouted crocodiles will probably be opening in the early part of 2016.
Major developments at Antwerp Zoo: - already mentioned savannah aviary for cape buffalo and african birds - mixed exibit for giraffe and hartman mountain zebra - Pig house : warthog, bat-eared fox, african porcupine, black-and-rufous elephant shrew - new entrance with shop, traditional coffeehouse, red panda exibit, roof-top walkway to the sea lions and bird of prey area - new 400 seater restaurant underground bypass - new 1000m² outside enclosures for chimpansees and gorilla's - greenhouse with okapi and probably some african birds (great blue turaco, congo peafowl?) -restoration of the Egyptian temple, Pig House and Cattle Building There's also a rumour of housing rhino in front of the Cattle Building (present zebra and cape buffalo enclosures).
Pandaasia : Giant panda's for Ouwehands Rhenen. Plans for new Bonobo enclosure are postponed. New siamang enclosure : Zoo Amersfoort New Giant panda enclosure for Zoo Berlin, which will be built north of the predator building.
