This cage gives the Melbourne Zoo's Hamadryas baboon abomination a run for its money;)

It looks like a bomb site.

Kuwait is one of the richest countries in the world. They have more money than we could ever dream of.

I couldnĀ“t help but mentioning this.

I heard that Kuwait is putting 10% of their revenue from oil into tourism, because when the oil runs out they want tourism to be an income stream.

If they want to encourage tourism then, admittedly, there are many other aspects of Kuwait that need to be fixed first. And I suspect the Aquarium complex in the Scientific Centre will be the tourist venue for wildlife (as it's a recent building and appears to be quite modern and decent). But that doesn't mean this place needs to be forgotten when they are allocating funds.

But if they painted the rocks and make them a little rougher you all would be jumping up Saying WHOA! Wonderful immersion exhibit

ben has a point like snowleopard

No, he doesn't. This cage could never be described as "immersion", not until the wire and roof had been removed, and some sort of substrate had been laid down on the concrete. Then you would need to do something outside the cage in the public area to give them that 'immersion' feeling. And during summer in Kuwait the only thing you feel you are immersed in is a blast furnace.

immersion was the wrong work, i just meant that if it was "Zoo quality" mock rock people would love it
    • Hix
Mockrock might be better for the animals than the concrete they currently have. But it would still be a $hitty exhibit.
