      looks in very bad condition, was it living with other meerkats? if not then that could explain the lack of grooming.

      It was the only one I saw, not sure if there are any others - there used to be.

      I just noticed this photo. Meerkats do have long claws on their front feet, but these ones look really overgrown don't they?
