African Pygmy Falcon at the Cotswold Falconry Centre

Polihierax semitorquatus. This is the first of this species I've seen since those in the corner aviay of RP's old bird house many years ago. I believe the National Birds of Prey Centre held/holds this species though.

Amazing little bird will have to pay a visit to see it.

This bird and his mate are now on public display again after spending the winter in an indoor off show flight. This might change if unseasonally harsh weather is forecast.
