What did you bribe that bison with in order to get it to pose for you? Stupendous!

Where abouts are they in the park?

Down past the penguins - they are labelled once you're there but there's nothing to point you towards them.

Are there still two left now?

I don't know about Alpenzoo, but I agree with your UK nominations. I would add the view across the city from the higher parts of Edinburgh Zoo and the view across the Romney Marsh and the Channel to the French coast from the top of the steps at Port Lympne.

Arguably this is even better from the 'lookout lodge' area on the Safari trail. Its a slightly different, more Easterly prospect obviously but really is stunning.

I don't know that one, but l love the Romney Marsh which has so many associations - birdwatching at Dungeness (where sea meets gravel meets nuclear power), memories of watching Patrick McGoohan in Dr Syn at the Gaumont, with E F Benson's Tilling/Hythe just a little out of sight.
