Yes according to newspaper articles Jalur and Cinta will be the stars of a brand new tiger exibit opening in August 2010 at Symbio Wildlife Park in Wollagong NSW Australia.

Does anyone know where Berani is planned to go yet?

oh okay. I would have thought Cinta would go off somewhere by herself to breed and the boys would be staying together. Does that mean Berani will probably be the cub to be bred from then?

Symbio have said that they plan to bring in more tigers and eventually breed them both. So what the future holds for Berani is anyone's guess.

ahh that makes more sense. sounds like a good plan to me. Then they can stay together longer also. Poor Berani off on his own.

I'm sure Berani won't be on his own for too long! It would be nice if he could come to Europe (I might have a chance if seeing one of them then!) But with Molek's side of the family already represented over here it doesn't look likely. Maybe he will go to a new holder like the other two?

All of the cubs are staying in australasia I think. Im pretty sure that was the orginal plan in bringing Oz over for new genes.

Apparently Auckland Zoo is part of the Sumatran Tiger EEP as well so it will be up to the studbook keepers as to where they send Berani. It would be nice to see a couple more tigers heading back this way as I know of at least 5 individuals who have gone to Australia/New Zealand from Europe in the last few years and yet we have only had 1 back!
