Hi everyone, Looking for ideas in designing hide boxes/humidity huts for King cobras, Indian Rock Pythons, Reticulated pythons (all adults..) Photographs, sketches or just recommendations...anything will be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Looking for answers.. Narasimha LR
The only thing i can think of is a plastic bin or container like this, sawn in half lengthways This could then be secured to floor or wall to prevent the animal moving it around the enclosure and would be easy to decorate/hide so its not obviously half a plastic drum in an enclosure.
We take large cement mixing tubs (I think thats what they are) and cut a large hole in one corner. Then get a lighter and or torch and melt the sharp plastic so the snakes aren't cut by it. We then will flip it upside down.
Anything that is large enough and plastix basically. Make sure that the entrance hole is big enough for the snake to enter but not too big! Plastic is easy to clean and decorate. The giant storage boxers with a lid could be used for easy access?
