A huge and beautiful exhibit with many different American waterfowl. Can\'t tell captives from wilds.

That is a very beautiful scene. It looks very enjoyable and pleasing zoo to go through. In your opinion, do you believe that as well?

This zoo is absolutly the most beautiful zoo I have ever seen. It is filled with ponds, flowers, and trees. Many of the exhibits are cages, which of course isn't good. However, none of the cages are really very bad. The waterfowl, tortoises, prairie dogs, and muntjac all have really great exhibits, as do many of the larger hoofstock and ratites across the street. Overall, for its size, one of the best I have ever visited.

This small zoo is very well maintained. Walking around the grounds is a very shady, relaxing, and enjoyable experience which explains why the residents of Emporia flock here for a couple hour escape from the summer Kansas heat. The exhibit barriers are above what you would expect from a small free zoo and each time I have been here the animals have been active and appeared healthy.
