Found this index tonight, a diverse list of stud books available online.

Excellent discovery :) having an informative look around the small carnivore records now! The most interesting thing I've found so far is a precise date of death for the Marbled Cat once held by Howletts - 26th Dec 1990. Looking at the studbook, this may have been the last captive of the species anywhere outside Thailand at the time of writing (1996)

Great list, but login is required now. Wanted to see the international polar bear studbook, but no chance without username + pw. :(

It is a shame; they added a log-in requirement about a year ago.

Does anybody know, if the International Studbook for Malayan tapirs is online available ? Who is the studbook keeper currently, I think, it is at the Taman Safari Bogor ?
