Help required with this weaver please 20th May 2013

This species is out of my comfort zone! I have read on another thread that the WMZ has two forms of Village Weaver, but this looks nothing like the "usual" one. Is anyone able to identify it please?

I don`t think this is a weaver at all. The body shape and beak size are not that of a weaver I am sure. It reminds me of a Saffron Finch but without checking I don`t know.

Saffron Finch was also my first thought, and my second but thats prob. because it is a Saffron Finch. On species-level I have to look in some of my books.
I actually didn't like Saffron Finches when I was young ( and regulary avaible ) because they looked ( for me ) to much like canaries and I didn't liked canaries.
Nowaday they are hardly avaible and would love to have a little aviary with some Saffron Finches in it.......

Thanks all! I did think it had a funny beak and general look for a weaver, but presumed it must be one as it was in the African Aviary and I had read, as I said above (where I forgot to edit my quote!), the zoo had two forms of Village Weaver. Very foolish me!! I shall stick to parrots in future.
