If the brand-new map of the zoo is correct then it appears that Somali Wild Ass have been added to the enclosure in the photo (Barbado Sheep) as well as the Ostrich and Rhea yards. Is it possible that the zoo combined all 3 exhibits into one to house the new species? For a free zoo that maintains many well-known, popular mega-fauna it is a bit odd that Somali Wild Ass have been added to the collection. That is great news for zoo nerds and hopefully the general public will appreciate the rarity of the species.

I was at the zoo last Thursday for membership appreciation night and I can elaborate on this.

The Barbados Sheep have been moved into the exhibit between the ostrich and camels where the rhea used to be. The rhea has been moved into the same exhibit as the alpacas, and the exhibit that used to hold the sheep is where the asses will be (however they were not out on Thursday).
