I see that you have been following my various zoo trip threads over the years.:) I love planning big road trips and the one you've come up with looks to be exciting. Is there a chance of it becoming a reality? I've visited almost every zoo on your itinerary but Washington Park Zoo, Seneca Park Zoo, ZooAmerica and Butterfly Pavilion (near Denver) are 4 places that I've not been to and I'm guessing that you used mapquest.com to figure out the driving distances. Looks good.

    A Dream or a Reality?

A dream? Yes. A reality? No. I may be doing a not-so-epic road trip soon. African Safari Wildlife Park, Lagoon Deer Park, Cleveland Zoo.
    Thanks for replying, snowleopard!

Good Christ, that's a dream. I'd love to do a zoo road trip someday but it's not even worth planning it out here. Good move giving a whole day to Brookfield. LPZ only takes five to six hours and you can probably scrape by four if you pass up the farm area. You won't make all of Brookfield in a day.

Nice dream to have. Two days for Toronto is probably wise when your losing 4 hours that day to driving there. You can see the zoo in a day (opening to closing) but you really have to keep moving fast and wouldn't get to enjoy the animals as much. It will only get harder when the Eurasian Wilds opens in the spring.
