Red-fronted kakariki
Four of these odd little birds are now working the day shift in the kiwi's aviary. I think they are an adult pair with two youngsters like this one. Bird Section, Paignton, 4th May 2016. I know they are common in aviculture, but I can only recall seeing them in a zoo once before. I had forgotten how terrestrial they are and how hard they are to spot in a planted aviary.
