Zoogiraffe makes himself at home at Dortmund 11/05/2009

In an act of great common sense, zoogiraffe nearly wasn't allowed to leave. Always a nice idea to allow access to these old cages.

Are those Amur or Sumatran tigers?:)

Looks like Siberian to me :p
And I'm sure I saw zoogiraffe at the Heythrop open day, he told me about a circus act ran by Mary, to which I asked who she was. I twigged after :)
      Sure it was this guy.

Sounds like it was me at Heythrop as i was there,as for the tiger species i believe it the only Fibreglass Tiger in a German Zoo,its quite a friendly fellow liked having its back scratched!!!!!!

Seems unbelievable now, but this small cage was home for a pair of siberian tigers in the 70´s... Now, you can see, how times changed in zoos... Fantastic idea so far...

After the tigers, this cage was inhabited by red pandas, porcupines, coatis and peacocks...

Don't let Dawn B catch you doing that - she'll accuse you of disrespecting the tiger, or damaging it's ego, or something like that.

What about damaging my EGO,I was only having a bit of fun with a Tiger that was very friendly!

That tiger must of had a hard night he looks a little stuffed to me, hehehe

What commands does he know? :D
    • TeaLovingDave
Oh, loads - zoogiraffe is quite talented you know ;) as long as you feed him plenty of ice cream he will obey many commands.
