...A fun song which shows why words like 'step' make for important context...!

If it's relevant to the conversation (with me it often is, given they're in different countries) I'll say something like "dad's sister" or "paternal cousin" or something.

Me and lots of others after Tricia the Elephant died at Perth Zoo last July (star wars fans will get it, my heart really does go out to her ever loving keepers):

I was playing the eBird identification quiz and got a photo with “LEAST FLYCATCHER” watermarked on it. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the quiz? IMG_5622.jpeg

The photos are just pulled from the Macaulay Library, so all the photos are user uploaded. I don't know why someone would bother to label the photo before uploading it to eBird.

That's far from the norm - I've seen a ton of Maculay Library photos and that's the first time I've seen a photo labeled with the species. All watermarks are user added (Maculay prefers no watermark anyway), and the quiz engine is simply pulling photos at random from the archives to use. Also not surprising it happens to be an Empidonax, given the difficulty of the group.

Thought I'd do something different for this one - physical paper.
    N. Narwhals narrowly needed numbats to name the nightingale Neil Neeson.
Hopefully not to many of the things in this one are too obscure!

aerobico.png O. Oh look, octopus ovulating owlets in an occasional octangle overlooking Overloon's orangutans.

In doing this one I realised I had not yet taken the time to learn about how octopi reproduce. That's about as much as I'll say on that. I also learned that aside from the zoo itself there's not much to be done in Overloon. No orangutans either.

Otherwise; one can paddle themselves as near as Oslo and as far as Orlando. Unless they wade there, that is. Two obvious polygons - one with half the sides of the other one. Some caricature-dogs end with 'O', but some begin with it.

...would anyone be interested in seeing 'R'?

It's one I would like to do but may put it off if no one's particularly bothered xP

    How it starts...
I would like to do axolotl for an art project. I should study what they look like.
