    On August 19th, the zoo announced they acquired a (1.0) Grant's zebra named Rowan from the Gladys Porter Zoo in Texas which is now on exhibit.

    On August 20th, the zoo announced the monkey's gender (1.0) and name, Taavi.

    On November 20th, the zoo announced that they acquired (0.0.4+) blue death-feigning beetles of 3 different species (Asbolus verruscosus, Absolus laevis, and Cryptoglossa muricata) which are now on exhibit in the Discovery Center.

    Also on November 20th, it was announced that the zoo transferred Fong to the Racine Zoo in Wisconsin.

    On December 3rd, the zoo announced they acquired (0.0.3) Henkel's leaf-tailed geckos which are on exhibit in the Kley building.

    On December 6th, the zoo announced that the monkeys were sexed as (1.1) and named Onyx and Rosemary.*

    On December 20th, the zoo announced that they acquired (0.0.2+?) white-faced whistling ducks which are on exhibit.

    On December 22nd, it was announced that the zoo transferred (3.0) sitatungas named Bamm Bamm, Elton, and Zayne to the Tulsa Zoo in Texas.

    On January 6th, 2024, the zoo announced they acquired a (0.1) screaming hairy armadillo named Bell from the Cincinnati Zoo in Ohio which is on exhibit in Amazonia.

    On March 2nd, the zoo announced they acquired (0.0.21) red-eyed tree frogs which are now on exhibit in the Discovery Center.

    On April 24th, the zoo announced they transferred their (1.1) hyacinth macaws to another unspecified AZA facility to create more space to breed ocelots (the facility is looking to acquire a male).
