Not at Zoo Vienna, those cute little ones were born at Munich Zoo Hellabrunn!

I've no idea. As I mentioned before, the cute babies were not born at Zoo Schönbrunn, they were born at Zoo Munich, Germany!

this is fascinating news. Ribbon morays are well-known for being difficult to keep healthy, let alone manage to get them to breed!

First-time mum "Cimber" gave birth to three cheetah cubs on 16 April 2014. All are doing well. Father of the cubs is first-time dad "Akim".

Apparently an 'eagle' - news website shows a stock picture of a bald eagle but I doubt there are many of those flying around Vienna - has eaten a tortoise.

Indeed we don't have many Bald Eagles in the wild in europe-maybe None ? But fortunately, the german Population of wild rheas is growing well !( no Joke-we have them in the wild since 15 years...:))Maybe we should try to introduce sibirian tigers in germany, to get another poluation !:D

As stupid as people are, this webside has used only the Picture of a bald Eagle, to Show the readers how an eagle Looks like..

2nd cheetah birth this year! First time mum "Farida" gave birth to four cubs on 4 July 2014, one died, the other three are doing well.

Cheetah "Cimber's" cubbies, born 16 April 2014, are doing fine, too. The boys were named "Zulu" and "Sambesi", the girl "Mali".

The new polar bear enclosure called "Franz Josef Land" was opened on 22 May 2014. Find lots of photos and a video on my blog --> here. The article is written in German, but there is a google translation tool ...
