2013-12 Hamm monkey house

Was this once the bear house? Either way, not the most attractive of exhibits.

Thanks for posting these photos; I visited Hamm about 20 years ago, and I'm not sure I'll be wanting to hurry back!

It actually looks like it could be improved enormously without too much effort. Some natural substrate, more branches and ropes etc.

My idea for this building is to use it as a small mammal house with clouded rats, agoutis, hutias, tamarins, civets and maybe giant squirrels.

I'd like to see a picture of the indoor cages. Must be very small. ...Hamm kept bears in the past, but i don't know where or if the enclosures are still existing. Maybe someone can help or maybe there's even a picture existing?

The bears were housed in exactly this house.
