Any ideas what is kept here??
    • Yi Qi
Pretty sure it is/was for the arctic foxes
    • Newzooboy
      OK.....many thanks

No I’m pretty sure that this exhibit is unoccupied at the the moment. The Arctic Fox exhibit is just up ahead across the bridge.

      I’ll ping @TZFan for a definitive answer.

It's the back of the Arctic Wolf exhibit. The building on the right is the Arctic Wolf house.

The last time I went to the zoo, I did see a wolf in it.
    • Newzooboy
Perfect - thanks to you all!!

The Wolves have access to this area as well as the large exhibit, where they spend most of their time. So you may not always see them there.
    • TZDugong
Funny as I’ve never seen a wolf there so I assumed it was empty.

I think, although not 100% sure, this section can be closed off to the wolves if needed. So The wolves don't always have access to it, unless it's open to them.
