'Kamina' the Pygmy Hippopotamus (Choeropsis liberiensis)

@Jambo She was- didn’t stay in sight for long though.

@WhistlingKite24 I would not be at all surprised if she/they had access to the dam in the future when more cover has grown in that area!

@Zorro I agree- would be great to see her in such a large body of water.

Hopefully ‘THEY’ will have access to the dam in the future.

@Jambo I was a bit confused with her access to water. I saw her using this pool, but then there was a much larger pool inside her indoor area.

Hmmm. I would’ve thought it would be the other way around. Smaller pool inside larger pool outside.

@Jambo Yes it was a bit unusual- but she seemed comfortable.
There might of been another water source near the back of her enclosure.

Indeed there might’ve been.

An underwater view of Kamina would be great.

@Jambo I agree, but unfortunately not all zoos have the budget that Melbourne Zoo has!
