Aalborg Zoo - African Village (Savannah House)
The indoor exhibit for common warthogs (Phacochoerus africanus) inside the big Savannah House in The African Village in Aalborg Zoo. The warthogs can also be seen in their outdoor exhibit. This house is 16 meters tall and also features indoor exhibits and stables for grevys zebras (Equus grevyi), greater kudus (Tragelaphus strepsiceros), scimitar-horned oryx (Oryx dammah) and ostriches (Struthio camelus). The African Village opened in 2006 and is the biggest project in Aalborg Zoos history. It features wildlife from the African savannahs and wetlands. July 2012
