Aalborg Zoo - African Village (Tropical House)
A view into the African Tropical House in The African Village in Aalborg Zoo. In here are the indoor exhibits for pygmy hippopotami (Choeropsis liberiensis liberiensis) as well as some free-ranging birds: Livingstons turaco (Tauraco livingstonii) and eastern paradise whydah (Vidua paradisaea). The African Village opened in 2006 and is the biggest project in Aalborg Zoos history. It features wildlife from the African savannahs and wetlands. July 2012
